Al momento della realizzazione del mezzo ottico correttivo, capita di sentir chiedere la differenza tra una lente bianca e una lente trattata AR, ritenuta spesso un optional caratterizzato solo da una differenza di prezzo. Tutti gli ottici optometristi si sono trovati a dover rispondere a tale quesito e in questa situazione devono essere a conoscenza delle argomentazioni più adeguate e professionali per spiegare il principio fisico alla base del trattamento.
Queste le ragioni alla base di questo lavoro sperimentale per capire e poter quantificare la differenza tra i vari tipi di lenti, lavoro che si è tradotto in un valido strumento capace di fornire utili e pratiche informazioni, in ambito
ottico optometrico, per non lasciare inevase le domande di chiarimento.

These are the reasons behind this experimental work to understand and be able to quantify the difference between the various types of lenses, work that has translated into a valid tool capable of providing useful and practical information, in the field optometric optician, so as not to leave questions for clarification unanswered.
