Improving hand-eye coordination among a group of basketball players

Every time a basketball player goes out onto the court they know that they will have to score one more basket than their opponent, they know that they will have to concede one fewer, they know that they will have to be smarter, faster, more committed, more aggressive, more determined, more agile… we could spend a lot of time talking about all the tiny details that allow a player to improve their game. It was from this idea that a project was born with the aim of investigating if and how small details affect the scoring percentages of a group of basketball players.

Tutte le volte che un giocatore di basket scende in campo sa che dovrà segnare un canestro in più dell’avversario, sa che dovrà subirne uno in meno, sa che dovrà essere più furbo, più rapido, più convinto, più aggressivo, più determinato, più veloce… potremmo stare qui un sacco di tempo a parlare di tutti i minimi dettagli che possono consentire ad un giocatore di migliorarsi. Partendo da questa idea è nato un progetto che ha voluto investigare se e come alcuni piccoli dettagli influiscono sulle percentuali al tiro di un gruppo di giocatori di basket.
